If you have an abnormal mammogram, you will have additional tests and perhaps meet with a surgeon. The diagnostic tests for whether the abnormal area on your mammogram is a cancer may involve one or more of the following tests:

Clinical examination:
The examination of your breasts should be done by your physician radiologist or a surgeon to find out if there is a knot in the area of abnormal mammography.

Diagnostic Mammography:
