Pregnancy is a very important phase in a woman’s life. Pre-pregnancy planning is the need for a healthy child. Not only the woman, but the male partner too has to understand the consequences of bringing a new life into this world. Smoking, drinking, drugs have bad effect on pregnancy health. If you take packaged foods, then take fortified cereals and fruit juices and avoid partly cooked or uncooked food especially grilled food.

If you want a healthy child then you must adopt pre pregnancy planning. Before getting pregnant, it is your duty to ensure that your body is fit for pregnancy at the pre conception stage. If you were taking birth control pills then you should stop taking the pills and you should wait for a few months for your menstrual cycle to become normal once again. Only then, you should attempt pregnancy. Usually, doctors recommend that you should wait for about six months to be fully sure.

Pregnancy is not something you have every other day, hence the need to be extra cautious. While you are abstaining from pregnancy, try to read as many books as possible. Gain information about what things to eat during pre pregnancy. What type of clothes to wear? What is the most fertile period for the woman to get pregnant? Learn how to remain free from pregnancy during this period.

The basic need for a healthy child is the proper pregnancy planning. The psychological and physiological care of the would be mom should be taken as a priority to achieve the goal of a healthy baby.
