The Homo Sapiens of the New Millennium

The last few decades of the 20th century have been devoted towards women and every aspect related to them ranging from education to employment and their every possible participation in the rolling the wheels of the economy. This global trend witnessed in most regions of the world saw women emerging from the backyards of their homes to touching heights of emancipation and taking independent reigns of the modern infrastructure. The economies have definitely set on the roll and so has been the status of the womenfolk the world over. Today’s woman is well educated and independent; she is armed with degrees, a job with an equal hold over the traditional kitchen and the household. This has got women with a better leverage over men for quite some time. She has an additional weapon of the ‘home front’ under her tuck to kick around men.
With women changing for the better globally, can the men folk be far behind. No! No ways pat come the reply from some where. See around and find the men working in the big corporate houses and at equal ease at home. Instead of sowing wild oats everywhere the new man loves being at home. More and more men are personally supervising their household, buying the fine cutlery, glassware, decorations and instructing the maids and the cooks for what is best for the home and the dining table. These house proud men do not shy from serving their guests on the well laid out tables. Men of the new age no longer want to hear taunts of the women to be incompetent or dependent on them on the home front. They too have leashed out their whips to flog up the competition.
So women out there! On your guard for if you thought you could buckle down men on the harbinger of home and the kitchen, it will now on be a bad idea. Let’s sharpen our claws on some other front. Instead of competition let it be cooperation and an endeavor to win hearts by becoming better souls. A heart that does something extra for the upliftment for the needy, the children, infirm and the aged all of which we have been or will be at some stage of our lives. The new times call for the enlightenment of the character soaring ones entity to newer heights and vistas-physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually. Independence now calls for taking better care of ourselves, our partners, society and the mankind as a whole. The handshake between the ‘have’ and ‘have not’ makes a complementary combination.
Now that independence has brought money as well resources at our feet we need to return back on the same coin for it is independence backed with responsibility which is our savior from the pitfall of having everything to virtually nothing for the circle that begins has to end at the same place that too from the opposite direction. Let’s celebrate the bounties that Mother Nature has given us and spread the light everywhere.
